Michelle Meades has a Master’s Degree in History from CSU, Fullerton and an MLIS, from CSU, San Jose. Michelle has lectured in American History, Women’s History and Women’s Studies at Santa Ana Community College, Rancho Santiago Community College and Cerritos Community College before settling into her career as a public librarian. Michelle is a published author, having written articles for professional history journals and textbooks, as well as serving as the editor in chief for CSU, Fullerton’s History Journal The Welabethan. As a historian and librarian, Michelle has presented at numerous conferences. Michelle loves serving the Placentia community and is happiest when assisting with large programs. When not at the library you can find Michelle at home reading or cooking for her family. Her favorite authors include Barbara Pym, Miss Read and Susan Howatch (the Starbridge series).

Placentia Library District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Placentia Library District
