First and Third Thursday of Each Month
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Community Meeting Room
The Placentia Teen Action Crew is open to all high school students interested in gaining community service experience, volunteer hours, and leadership skills through planning and supporting library events.
All teens between the age of 12-17 are welcome to join PTAC, no application required. All prospective PTAC members will need to complete the volunteer orientation in order to receive hours for attending meetings. We ask that all members try to attend at least one meeting per month.
At PTAC, regular meetings consist of completing volunteer tasks to help with library needs (discarding books, compiling gift bags, cutting out materials for crafts, organizing books, etc.) and discussions of upcoming teen events. PTAC members are encouraged to provide their feedback and ideas for future teen programs and opportunities!
Members also receive priority to sign up for volunteer opportunities at library events, such as the Summer Reading Celebration and PLFF Membership Party.
For more information, contact volunteers@placentialibrary.org or (714) 528-1906.
